This past Saturday I had the wonderful opportunity to go to The Fashion Forward Latinas Seminar Thanks to Carmen of Viva Fashion. She had a giveaway contest and I won! I was so thrilled I learned So many thing aout how to dress for my Body type and all the trends of the seasons! Here are some of my notes :

SUMMER/SPRING

• MIXING PRINTS (stripes/floral/animal print)

• PICK COLORS THAT ARE ALREADY IN PATTERNS OF YOUR CLOTHES

• PICK NEUTRAL COLORS

• PLEATS

FALL/WINTER

• BURGUNDY

• REPTILE PRINT ( MOSTLY SNAKESKIN)

• LEOPARD WILL ALWAYS BE CLASSIC!

• LEATHER (pants,jackets,skirts,sorts) depending on the city you live in.

• WINTER WHITE

• LITTLE WHITE DRESS

• WHITE PANTS

• MILITARY MIX WITH FEMININE TOUCHES

• MIX MASCULINE PIECES WITH FEMININE PIECES

• BLACK & DARK BLUE (COLOR BLOCKING FOR FALL)

• RICH DARK BLUES

And remember just because its trending that doesn’t mean you HAVE to wear it! wear what YOU like! and what best fits your body!

I can’t wait for the next Fashion Forward Latinas Seminar! Flor de Maria and Carmen make a wonderful team and I learned so many things! I guess I really don’t know EVERYTHING :)
